Young Adults / Kids Groups
Life Groups
LifeGroups are the friends that you grow, laugh and serve with! Here at Abundant Life, we love to get together and talk about what the Lord is doing in our lives to encourage each other in our daily walk.
Led by one or two individuals, each LifeGroup is made up of 10-12 people who meet in someone’s home or at church. We know how busy your life can be so our LifeGroups meet for 6 weeks at a time. Starting with a Fall sermon-based series in October, we have a Winter series in February and a Spring series in May.
Joshua United
 is for ages 13-18 years old. JU provides a balance of serving (i.e. mission trips or work projects) and receiving (i.e. Youth rallies, bible study, etc.) opportunities. We encourage all members to engage with whatever we are doing and continue to develop the gifts God has given them. We believe that the only place anyone will truly be fulfilled is in God’s family. Joshua United (JU) meets weekly at ALCCL on Fridays from 7:30 – 9:30pm (September – June).  We are blessed with an awesome group of young adults that have fun while growing together.

Men’s Group

 
Welcome to Abundant life’s Men’s Discipleship Group. This ministry was started in the fall of 2012, out of a burden to see men of God have an avenue where they can receive encouragement to be the husbands, fathers, and leaders in this community that God has called them to be. We strive to foster the message of Proverbs 27:17, which says,” As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”   Men’s groups typically meet September-April with an occasional summer event mixed in, and meet 1 – 2 times a month.  Activities range from meeting at church to discuss certain Biblical topics, to overnight camping events, hiking trips, baseball games, paper rocket contests, etc… Our vision here is for men to have a place to go where they are encouraged and welcomed, no matter the life stage you may be in. Come and be blessed, have fun, build friendships, and grow in the knowledge and grace of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Ignite  ministry exists to bring junior youth (11-13 years old) into a living, growing and fruitful relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church. God has given us a clear word for how He wants us to model this youth ministry, FAMILY. We understand that at this stage in their life they are trying to figure out how they fit in. And the only place they will truly be fulfilled is in God’s family. We want them to  experience the benefits one can only find in His family. Benefits like: unconditional love and acceptance, complete security, true freedom, and lasting joy.
We host bi-weekly meetings on Saturday evenings September through June from 6:30 pm  to 8 pm. 
 
 

Women’s Group

 
In this culture, real face to face time is a rarity. Relationships are often begun and maintained through the use of one technology or another. True connections are not made and this can leave you feeling alone and isolated. Developing impactful relationships between Godly women that create lasting friendships is one of the main goals of our women’s ministry at ALCCL.  We will be organizing small groups of 3-4 women who are free to meet wherever and how often they choose.  Our vision is to give each woman a place to be herself, to develop a deeper relationship with God and to truly connect with other women.

 
 Kids Life program at ALCCL is designed to serve our children ages 3-11.   We offer three classes grouped together by age: Seeds (Pre-K through Kindergarten), Sprouts (1st through 3rd) and Tree House Kidz (4th and 5th).  Each class is offered during the service and is designed to provide spiritual building blocks that will spark a life long hunger for God and His Word.  We incorporate worship, teaching and hands on fun into each Sunday  night with the desire to see each child develop relationships with each other and with the teachers while they learn Biblical truths. We believe that children are a precious gift with amazing potential wrapped up in each and every one.  We desire to provide a safe and fun atmosphere as we, as a church family,  partner with parents to provide Biblical instruction.  We consider it an honor to be a part of their journey in becoming men and women of God.
