Matthew Zehr

Pastor

Pastor Matt and his wife Eliza have been married for more than 20 years and live in the village of Lowville where they are raising 5 wonderful little men of God.. Aidan, Geran, Ethan, Toran, and Owen. Pastor Matt was an Elementary school teacher for 11 years before leaving the profession after hearing a calling from God to become a Pastor and develop a Christian Counseling Ministry in the North Country. He holds a Master’s Degree in Developmental Psychology and continues to work with area churches to provide Biblical Counseling to our communities. Eliza is a Pediatric Physical Therapist and works part time throughout the county. The Zehr family loves the outdoors and being active. Family is very important to them and they spend much of their free time building memories and connections.

Randy Lehman

Associate Pastor / Elder
 
Randy and Tina were both born and raised in the Lowville area. Randy is a physical therapist and currently the Director of Rehabilitation at Lewis County Health System where he has worked since 1999. Tina is a 5th grade math teacher at Carthage Middle School where she has worked since 2000. They currently reside in Naumburg with their 3 children; Izabela, Jude and Reese. As a family Randy and Tina enjoy spending time camping, traveling, socailizing with friends and just enjoying the great outdoors. They have been actively involved in the church since its start and would love to have you connected with this church family. They are honored and blessed to be part of the leadership team and look forward to serving you in any way that they can.
 
 
 

Matt  Kirkwood

Elder

 

Matt and Laurie have been happily married for 25 years.  They have been busy raising 6 children, some of whom are now adults, on their own.   After living downstate for a couple years, they moved to Lewis County, which is Laurie’s home town.  Lowville has now been home for 23 years.   Matt is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Laurie is the Beaver Falls Librarian.  Both are honored to have the opportunity to serve as part of the eldership here at Abundant Life Community Church and encourage you to seek out the calling God has for your life.

Scott Moshier

Elder
 
Scott and Ingrid Moshier have been married for more than 20 years and currently live in the village of Castorland. They are enjoying the blessings of six amazing children: Heidi, Hope, Nicholas, Hannah, Nolan, and Noah – in their various stages of life. They are both graduates of River Valley Mennonite School. Scott received his associates degree at Wyoming Technical Institute and is the owner of Wolff’s Body Shop in Croghan, and Ingrid takes care of everything else. They have been serving as part of the elder team since 2011, and are really excited to see what God has in store for Abundant Life Church. They invite you to live out the Abundant Life that God has planned for you.
 
 
 
 
 

Benjamen Manning

Elder
 
Both Ben and Carrie were born in Lowville. Ben graduated High School in Gouverneur and Carrie South Lewis. Carrie went on to get a degree in pharmacy while Ben did a year at Clarkson University and then went into the Army. Ben and Carrie were married on June 10th, 2006. Currently Ben works for a local contracting company and spends every spring season among the Maple Trees. Carrie works a few days a month for a pharmacy and is full time and then some raising their three children, Skylar (2007), Elijah (2009) and Addison (2012). Both Ben and Carrie are honored and humbled to serve God, their family, their church and their community.

Curtis Kilburn

Elder
 
Curtis and Nicole have been happily married for 22 years.  They are raising two wonderful children, Avery and Andrew.  After residing in Buffalo from 1997 – 2004 they moved to Lowville to be closer to family and to allow Curtis to go back to school.  Curtis graduated from SUNY Potsdam in 2007 with a BA in Mathematics and a Masters of Science in Teaching.  He was blessed to find a job right out of college and has been teaching math at South Lewis ever since.  Nicole graduated in 2000 with a BS in Occupational Therapy.  She has worked as a school based therapist since 2008 at Carthage CSD.  Curtis and Nicole live in Lowville and enjoy spending time outdoors, having fun as a family, going on dates and doing life with our church family at ALCCL.
